Base 302 Windsor style block just like the original BOSS but with 2-bolt mains. Does not have Cleveland 4V heads but has M type 2V heads. Performance style Aluminum intake with Holley 4V carburetor. Forged connecting rods with flat-top pistons. However, the open combustion chamber heads produce only about a 9 to 1 compression ratio which will allow the use of regular 87-octane gas. The cam is solid lifter (like the BOSS) with specs almost identical to the BOSS factory cam. The engine was broken in on the dyno and produced almost 290 horsepower at 6000 rpm. Engine comes with carb, alternator, distributor, plugs and wires, fuel pump, flywheel, clutch and blow-proof bell housing. Two sets of headers, one long-tube and the other block hugger style. Has been sitting for years but has been hand cranked 90 to 120 degrees every single month with a shot of WD40 in each cylinder every third or fourth spin. Obviously set up for a manual transmission (like the BOSS).
