I’m taking a chance by posting this, but I’m hoping it reaches the right person.
I’m a mom of 3, I have my master’s degree, I work hard, and right now my biggest dream isn’t anything fancy it’s simply to give my kids a home we can call ours.
There have been times when my kids and I have slept on the floor or on a memory-foam mattress because that was all we had. My 9-year-old has never really had his own bed since he was a baby.
As a mom, that's something I carry with me every day.
I want my kids to have their own rooms, their own beds, and a safe place where they can finally put down roots.
We dream about a little yard where they can play basketball, have bonfires, and watch movies outside. But more than that, I want them to have something that feels permanent security, stability, and memories that don't end because the rent went up or we have to move again.
About two years ago, I moved my children into a relationship that ultimately became unhealthy and unsafe. When things became physical, I knew I had to leave not only for myself but also to teach my children that you never have to stay somewhere you aren't safe or respected.
So now we're starting over.
The Arizona housing market is incredibly difficult, and even with my education and job, buying a typical $300K home or taking on a $2,300+ mortgage just isn't realistic for me.
But I'm hoping someone might have a different kind of opportunity.
If you or someone you know is thinking about selling a home in Phoenix, Mesa, or Tempe, especially a home that may need some TLC or isn't quite ready for the traditional market, please message me.
I'm not asking for a handout. I'm asking for a chance.
A chance to give my kids a bedroom.
A chance to give them a yard.
A chance to stop living with the fear of “what happens next?”
A chance to finally say:
“This is our home.”
If you don't know of a home, please consider sharing this post. You never know who in your circle may be thinking about selling.
Maybe this post will find the person who has the home we've been looking for.
