Would like a quiet and calm place to stay over Christmas? Willing to share a gem of an apartment which is 158' with a young, bilingual, hotel professional who can give you great advice to navigate the city? Our daughter is a light smoker...How about a big room (38 square feet) in the 18th district of Paris? Our place is in a beautiful Haussmann building, in one of the up-and-coming area of the Capital. It is two minutes to the metro station Jules Joffrin on line 12, or line 4, if you walk for an extra two minutes, and multiple bus stops (80, 31, 60)
On the first floor, with elevator, this apartment is situated between two interior courtyards so no street noises, and the star layout allows for practicality and privacy. If you are in a wheelchair, there is an elevator, but there is a big step-up, twice, to get to it...
The high ceilings, intricate mouldings, marble fireplaces, and oak floors remind you of la belle époche of this amazing city. There are two bedrooms, a living room with a dinning area table and a small couch, a fully equipped kitchen, a stand-up closet, separate toilets, and at the end of the hall, between the two bedrooms is the bathroom with a bathtub and devine water pressure for showers.
Lots of cafés, restaurants, local shops, and an open market in an area which is not at all touristic. Internet is fast and the bed is super-comfortable.
Come enjoy Paris!
