Gotland Sheep (Hanford)
QR Code Link to This Post
2026. Gotland sheep are known for the pearly shine of their fleeces which are lovely for spinning or felting, and for beautiful pelts (either no-kill or other). They are a friendly multi-purpose breed who are great foragers that enjoy eating brush. Their wool grows quickly and they are sheared twice a year. CDT was given a month before birth and twice since then as recommended. They have been on rotational grazing inside portable electric net fencing since late June. They are unregistered Gotland sheep whose grandparents were all registered. $300 for ewe lambs and $200 for wethers. The non-gray sheep in the photos are Shetland/Gotland mixes.
