Aloha! Federico's Fresh Mex is looking for hardworking, reliable, and friendly individuals to join our team in beautiful Hanalei!
We've been a family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant on Kauaʻi's North Shore since 2009. Over the years, we've built strong relationships with our local community and regular customers, and we take pride in serving fresh, delicious Mexican food in a welcoming, upbeat environment.
We're looking for people who bring a positive attitude, enjoy working with others, and take pride in what they do. Whether you have years of restaurant experience or are looking to learn something new, we'd love to hear from you!
Positions Available:
Morning Prep Cook / Dishwasher (Hybrid Position)
Prepare fresh ingredients and assist with daily food preparation
Follow recipes, portioning, and food safety standards
Perform light dishwashing throughout the morning, including washing and sanitizing utensils, dishes, and equipment used during food preparation
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and prep area
Work independently and efficiently to complete daily prep tasks
Previous kitchen experience is a plus, especially with Mexican cuisine
Evening Dishwasher:
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment during evening service
Keep the dishwashing station and kitchen areas clean and organized
Assist with end-of-day kitchen cleaning and closing duties
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and support the kitchen team
No previous experience required — willing to train the right person!
Cashiers / Front Counter:
Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude
Take orders accurately and process payments
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Maintain a clean and organized front counter and dining area
Build relationships with our regular customers and provide great customer service
Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus
What We're Looking For

Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to stay organized and work efficiently during busy periods
Restaurant experience is appreciated but not required for all positions
