This position will primarily involve testing electrical cables using a Megger, which is a tool used to check cables for potential issues or damage. Previous experience using a Megger is NOT required, but candidates must be willing to learn. We are looking for dependable individuals who have electrical experience, can follow directions, and are comfortable learning new testing procedures.
Job Details:
- Location: Hampton, GA
- Pay: $25–$30/hr, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Duration: 6 months
- Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
Candidates should have previous electrical experience and a basic understanding of electrical wiring, cables, and safety procedures. Experience reading electrical drawings or using electrical testing equipment is a plus, but not required. Must be able to follow instructions, work safely, and accurately record testing results.
IMPORTANT: All candidates must have a clean background check and drug screen. You will NOT be able to start work until both results have been received and cleared. Please keep this in mind before applying.
Required PPE includes a hard hat, safety glasses, ankle-high safety-toed boots, cut-resistant gloves, and reflective safety vest.
