1978 Bertone. This was Volvo's sport car. Italian designer, Bertone, chopped 2 inches from factory compared to standard 240 model. owned for about 30 years. car was stripped to bare metal, epoxy primed and painted Porsche Polar Silver 20+ yrs ago. House of Color clear was used and is still mostly perfect. Paint is still very good. Car has been garage for 20 + years since. Outside (but covered ) for the last several years. Troublesome dual overhead cam V-6 original engine with auto trans was removed and replaced with bullet proof 1980 B21F 4 cyl engine and 4 speed manual trans with 100k miles to make it a reliable driver. Last items installed was new radiator and water pump, 0 miles on them. The body is amazingly rust free. There are a couple rust spots around newly replaced front windshield, and a couple on rear trunk lid. Inside trunk is perfect, no rot, wheel wheels perfect, floors, quarters, fenders, hood perfect. Rockers perfect, doors and bottoms of doors are perfect. original Bertone wheels with all hub cap centers. Needs new vinyl top, and exhaust. 100% original leather interior, have all door panels, seats, carpet, trunk carpet, all 100% there. This car would be a perfect candidate for the common v-8 swap to make a real sleeper.
