We have 3 young pasture-raised, grain-finished beef scheduled to be butchered on September 11 by Farmers Helper in Harrisburg. We are selling them by the half, $4.35 per pound hanging weight. Cut and wrap to be paid directly to Farmers Helper. (This came to right around $1 per pound last year, so your estimated total cost would likely be around $5.35 per pound.) Based on past years' numbers, each half should be somewhere between 350 and 450 pounds hanging weight. As of August 31, we have 1 of the 6 beef halves still available.
