Hello - I'm getting back into recording and building a studio in my garage. I'm looking for bands that want to record a demo of 1-3 songs free of charge. I have everything required to record drums, guitars, vocals, etc with very good Microphones and AD/DA convertors.
I would be available on the weekends for sessions starting at noon and can record until 6PM. I would prefer to record punk, hardcore, metal, rock, etc but I am open to record anything except for HipHop/Rap.
Disclaimers!
I am offering free demo recordings of 1 to 3 songs
You will not receive pro studio quality (I'm doing this for practice)
Songs will be mixed but not mastered (I can refer you to Mastering engineers)
You must have your own instruments - Drums, Guitars, Bass, Horns, Etc.
I can provide studio quality cymbals for drummers (if needed)
I can provide additional snare drums (if needed)
Bands should be rehearsed and have songs ready to record including vocals
Some producing can be provided (if needed)
Multiple weekends may be required depending on how many songs you want to get done
Plan to record as a band to lay down rough tracks and then track in this order
1. Drums
2. Bass
3. Guitars
4. Vocals
5. Dubs (if needed)
Editing and Mixing will take a few weeks or longer. (I work a full-time job)
