Gasket Guy of North Jersey | Northern New Jersey, Rockland & Westchester Counties
$40,000 guaranteed base | $70,000–$100,000 on-target total earnings
Full-time | Benefits, mileage reimbursement & paid time off
We’re looking for a go-getter who enjoys meeting people, solving practical problems, and working independently. You’ll combine outside sales with hands-on installation, building a local customer base and becoming their trusted resource for refrigeration door maintenance.
No refrigeration or installation experience is necessary. We provide months of training and support to help you succeed.
Gasket Guy is a longstanding national brand, newly serving North Jersey. Our locally owned business serves restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, schools, medical facilities, and other commercial refrigeration users. We replace refrigeration door gaskets, hinges, closers, sweeps, strip curtains, and cutting boards.
Gaskets wear out, tear, and develop mold, creating potential health inspection violations. Worn seals also waste energy and force equipment to work harder, increasing wear. Regular inspections and replacement create recurring demand and opportunities for lasting customer relationships.
Our culture is simple: do the right thing and treat people right. Give honest recommendations, keep commitments, and deliver quality work. We’re offering a long-term career where you can develop expertise and grow your earnings in a largely untapped territory. The combination of personal relationships and physical installation makes this work resilient as AI changes other industries.
This is a field-based role, with territory options in North Jersey, Rockland County, or Westchester County. You’ll travel to customer locations using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement.
The role averages 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Typical hours are 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with flexibility to organize your schedule around customer appointments.
Most work takes place indoors at customer locations, with daily driving and occasional outdoor inspections. Many installations involve fitting gaskets into a track or replacing screw-mounted hardware. Expect an active day with a mix of customer conversations and practical work.
