This is an all-aluminum block, the same one as in Porsche 914. It has been thoroughly gone through.
Ported, polished heads with Oversized, stainless-steel valves, (48mm intake, 50mm exhaust), and machined to accept the 103mm cylinders and pistons.
GEX 103 mm type 4 or Porsche 914 cylinders and pistons. Cylinders are cast iron 14.6mm longer.
Rods and crank shaft are stock forged units with the rods being shot-peened. Complete rotating unit is balanced and blue printed.
Eagle Street Power cam and cam gear, solid lifters, providing fast bottom end and mid-range action. This has a 278° duration and .410" lift with 1.3:1 Rocker Arms.
Heads are port matched for both intake and exhaust.
Intake manifolds are CB Performance 48mm topped with DeLoreto DRLA 45. And CB’s linkage. Engine cooling is provided by a Porsche 911 shroud with a 65-amp Bosch alternator and oversized crank pully. The engine uses a high-performance Type 4 oil pump.
The motor has a Bosch distributor with a Pertronix solid state ignition.
This is a sold engine supporting over a hundred HP. It is solid enough for turbos and would provide over 400hp!
This motor will drop right into a Type 1 Sedan with no modification whatsoever. Truly PLUG-N-PLAY.
