Wood bird carvings by Mark Holland - $400
QR Code Link to This Post
This carving depicts a male Merganser duck (commonly known for its distinctive prominent crest, slender bill, and striking plumage) and is mounted on a characteristic driftwood base for $750
The bird depicted on top of the sculpture is a Peregrine Falcon, identifiable by its signature dark
"helmet" head markings, slate-grey back, and finely barred white chest. It is carved peering downward at a smaller cavity-nesting bird (resembling a chickadee or nuthatch) tucked safely inside the driftwood hollow for $950.
