This is a vintage sewing thread storage case that my grandfather hand made of wood in the early 1960s for my mother. It comes with 41 spools of used vintage thread. This piece has been lovingly used over the years, is very sturdy and shows nice patina.

The case measures 21.5 inches by 13 inches with two side handles that measure 6 inches by 1 inch. The piece is tiered and measures 6 inches in the back and goes down to 3.75 inches at the front. There are 45 large storage cavities and 12 small ones. There are 15 big wooden spools and 8 small wooden spools. There are 13 big plastic plastic spools, 2 medium plastic spools and 3 small plastic spools.
