One (1) 1978 Ford C4 torque converter and bellhousing (from 200 I-6-cyl.) for sale in good used condition. The torque converter operated properly before it was pulled from the straight-six powered Fairmont from which it was installed. Approximately 10k miles on torque converter. Pilot diameter: 1.375", 26 spline input shaft, 9.5-inch bolt circle, 26 lbs.

Regarding the bellhousing, the transmission-side opening (inside diameter) is 6.125''. The engine-side inside diameter is 11.5''.

C4 transmissions were commonly mated to Ford I-6 and small block V-8 engines from 1964-81. Note: This torque converter will not work with V8 applications (unit is smaller in diameter than V-8 converters).
