Unlock your potential with Python, the most versatile and beginner-friendly programming language in the world. Whether you’re spending time to learn programming, data science, artificial intelligence, or web development, mastering Python is the first step toward making it happen. Our online introduction to python makes learning simple, interactive, and perhaps fun—no prior knowledge nor experience is needed.
We are currently providing this service to anyone at Grade 9 through 12 in the Triad area, who wishes to learn the Art of Programming. Only required the use of a Computer with a Browser and Internet Connection. No textbook is required.
If we were to use a Textbook, the following textbook would suffice.

Please see our topics for our paid services below.
Phase 1: Getting started 2-4 hrs
• What is Python, where it is used, and how to install it on your computer.
• Using an editor or IDE (IDLE, VS Code, Web Interface or Google Account) and running your first script with print() and basic input/output.
• Understanding comments, indentation, and simple errors so learners can fix common mistakes early.
Phase 2: Core Python basics 2-4 hrs
• Variables and core data types: integers, floats, strings, and booleans, plus basic arithmetic operators.
• Working with strings (concatenation, slicing, simple methods) and basic type conversion with int(), str(), and float().
• Simple mini-tasks like a calculator, temperature converter, or greeting program to apply these basics.
Phase 3: Decisions and loops 3-5 hrs
• Conditional statements: if, elif, else, comparison operators, and logical operators (and, or, not).
• Loops: while and for, using range(), and avoiding infinite loops with clear stopping conditions.
• Practice tasks such as a number-guessing game, password checker, and simple menu-driven programs.
Phase 4: Collections and functions 3-6 hrs
• Built-in data structures: lists, tuples, dictionaries, and sets, including indexing, slicing, and common methods.
• Defining and calling functions with parameters and return values, plus the idea of local vs global variables.
• Small projects that combine functions and collections, such as a contact list, to-do list, or basic Phone Contact management
Phase 5: Files, errors, and simple projects 2-4 hrs
• Reading from and writing to text files, working with paths, and handling simple data formats like CSV or JSON.
• Basic error and exception handling using try, except, and simple debugging strategies.
• Capstone mini-projects, for example: a budget tracker, a simple game, or a data log analyzer that ties together all previous topics.
