Selling private surplus inventory of premium commercial-grade, heavy-duty insulated structural panels (SIPs). This is limited private stock—once they are gone, they are gone!
Ultimate Material for Marine & DIY Builds:
These panels are heavily over-engineered. They can be used as complete high-strength panels or easily ripped down into custom, heavy-duty deep stringers and floor grid structural networks for reinforcing fiberglass boat hulls. They are also ideal for structural crash bulkheads, transoms, or building high-end custom truck campers, tiny homes, ice shanties, overland builds and many other applications.
These are priced at $8.75 per square foot, with exact individual prices listed below.
The Elite Core: Armacell ArmaPET Struct GR80
Unlike standard panels that use cheap EPS, XPS, PIR or PU, these are built with an Armacell ArmaPET Struct GR80 core (8 lb/cu ft density). PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is the next-generation premium alternative to traditional marine cores (like Coosa or PVC) for several key reasons:
• Superior Fatigue & Vibration Resistance: It handles severe hull flexing, pounding waves, and heavy structural engine loads far better than traditional marine cores without degrading.
• Zero Water Absorption: 100% closed-cell foam. Unlike wood or cheap foam, these will never absorb water, rot, or delaminate—even if your bilge fills up.
• Thermal Stability: It can handle high-heat curing and extreme environments without expanding, contracting, or off-gassing, keeping your lamination perfectly intact.
The Structural Advantage:
• Self-Supporting Framing: These panels act as both the walls and the frame. They are structurally strong enough to be completely self-supporting, meaning you do not need to build underlying wood studs or a steel frame structure.
• Zero Thermal Bridging: Continuous, hyper-efficient insulation across the entire surface with no framing cutting through.
Specifications:
• Heavy-Duty Fiberglass Faces: Thick structural fiberglass skins on both sides weigh 1.52 lbs/sq ft alone, offering incredible puncture resistance.
• Total Weight: All-up panel weight is a solid 3.51 lbs per square foot.
• Ready to Finish: Both sides feature a smooth, glossy white finish (marine UV-resistant gel coat).
• Great Insulation: 3-1/8" total thickness provides an excellent R-13 insulation rating.
