Meet miss Daisy. Daisy is one of the sweetest girls out there. She’s a slow girl though. We were told she has some arthritis in a hind leg but haven’t noticed it except when trimming she needs some more frequent breaks to re-stabelize herself. She’s does great for vet and farrier but does need some sedation for oral exams of her back teeth. She’s would be an amazing lead line horse for a kiddo but would need a very patient advanced rider for individual riding. She needs confidence and someone who will let her sit and think about things. She will rear if pushed too hard when riding alone and not given a chance to think when she’s nervous. She does great if following another horse who’s a bit more confident. She is a walking girl all the way. She may give a little bunny hop if you try to get her trotting when being ridden but does fine if on a lead. We’ve found she rides great in a D ring roller snaffle as she likes to play with her tong but her previous owners rode her in a hack. She’s been barefoot with no issues as long as we’ve had her and does great for pokes from the vet. Shes been sitting for a few years and just needs someone to give her more love and attention. She can be a bit hard to catch but if you go out with a peppermint treat she’s perfect. I don’t have a tape but would say she’s about 15 hands. 2000 model AQHA registered. Pick up only, located in grantsburg Wisconsin. Carrots negotiable to the right home. For sale due to no fault of her own, she is an absolute sweetheart.
