Not sure what you need to use this with Mac goods, but a PC with a firewire card/port should work. I might have a firewire PCI card.
I have no cables to test this, but it worked when the reggae musicians who had it got caught smuggling drugs and stopped using it. I have the rack shelves, but not the screws, and not all the knobs are present.
