Manufacture is real wood. Fundamentals are solid oak frame and trim, oak plywood panel and shelves.
The quality is below the highest quality Amish furniture, but neither does it carry the very high Amish price.
The quality is far above imports, such as at furniture and big box stores, which sell nice looking pieces, but are merely covered fiber board, particle sheet, or other low quality glue products.
