2000 Ibis Silk Ti Titanium Softail Mountain Bike (Size Medium / 18.5")
Up for sale is an iconic John Castellano-designed Ibis Silk Ti from the original Sebastopol/Santa Rosa era. Built using 3Al/2.5V titanium main tubing and a 6Al/4V planar truss flex-stay chainstay plate, this softail frame provides 1.75" of pivotless rear travel. This is a holy-grail vintage mountain bike built during the peak of handcrafted American titanium frame building and steeped in Ibis heritage.

Cockpit: Ritchey 100mm alloy stem, Answer Alumilite 6061 60mm rise handlebar, Cane Creek Ergo Control bar ends, and Ergon lock-on grips.
Seating: Moots Titanium Setback Seatpost (with original "Mr. Moots" graphic) paired with a Selle Italia Flite Titanium saddle
Headset: Chris King NoThreadSet 1-1/8" (Silver)
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The frame's titanium finish and decals show minor cosmetic wear consistent with light use; head tube badge is clean and intact. The flex-stay plate and Castellano shock damper unit are structurally sound and fully functional. Total weight is ~25lbs.
