Need a dude? I’m a dude. — Project Help, Audio & Photography (Grand Rapids)
$60/hour — two-hour minimum.
I’m a local dude with an engineering background, hands-on experience, tools, and the ability to read the instructions before things get expensive.
A few things I can help with:
• PROJECT HELP & TROUBLESHOOTING
Building, assembling, figuring out why something doesn’t work, or helping you finish that thing YouTube made look easy. Woodworking, hobby projects, equipment setup, and practical problem-solving.
• AUDIO & MUSIC GEAR
Help setting up or troubleshooting your PA, mixer, recording setup, guitar rig, or pedalboard. Connections, cables, signal routing, and figuring out why sound isn’t coming out where it should.
• PHOTOGRAPHY
Available for straightforward photo projects such as outdoor property photos, products, and items you’re selling. Tell me what you need photographed and how you’ll use the images, and we can discuss whether I’m a fit.
• LEARN YOUR EQUIPMENT
Have a piece of equipment nobody has bothered to read the instructions for? I can help you understand it and get it working. Patient, practical help with tools, audio gear, and technical projects.
• A SECOND SET OF HANDS OR EYES
Need help evaluating a Marketplace purchase, planning a project, choosing equipment, or accompanying you to the hardware store so you look like you know what you’re doing?
Tell me what you’re trying to accomplish. A description, your location, and a few photos where relevant will help me give you a useful answer.
$60/hour. Two-hour minimum. Cash or Venmo accepted. Project pricing can be discussed once the scope is clear.
Serving the Grand Rapids area. Available throughout greater West Michigan depending on travel distance and project needs.
No illegal, dangerous, creepy, or otherwise questionable requests.
Tell me what you need a dude for. We’ll see if I’m your dude.
