This early twentieth century console table is constructed from solid wood. The finish on the base has been restored and refreshed to brighten and bring out the wood tones while leaving some of the crackling and patina. Not wanting the top to look completely new I removed the damaged finish without removing all of the original dye color. The top was sealed with oil based polyurethane for durability. This 60 inch long table would work well behind a sofa, at an entry way or as a dining room server.
