Concept 2 'dynamic' rower w/PM5 screen - $250 (Grand Junction)
QR Code Link to This Post
This has the PM5 screen, which is the most recent from Concept and while a simple screen , is noted for its energy efficiency (in gyms they do not have to charge the battery often ) and connectivity to Apps
It also comes with two small additional accessories (that you may not choose to use) so that you can see a larger phone and a regular sized phone while you row. (EXR on the larger phone and HR data on the smaller phone)
The'dynamic' Concept 2 dynamic rower is different than what you might have used at the gym: at the gym the feet are fixed and the seat rolls; the dynamic rower allows the feet to move and the seat to only move a bit - this was done to make the experience be more like a true rowing experience of rowing a boat in water. By way of comparison it is a bit like the difference between using a weight machine and free weights - with free weights there is more coordination between muscles, more timing and more finess. People who are training to row boats competitively generally prefer this rower.
I got it after I had some shoulder surgery and it was very helpful for that. I do not use it as much since; I am doing an autmn cleaning of my garage so making it available.
Comes with everything that originally came with it.
