I bought this unit from Century Link for $200 a couple years ago, so it is a current up to date unit and works well. If you have a download speed of around 20 mega bits per second, this unit should work well for multiple types of devices, including streaming. Trouble is they only have 10 mbs for my particular house, so I had to switch to a faster internet service. The modem/router is cylindrical and white in color.
