This gorgeous, tribal, oriental rug, has a very impressive look, in a smaller package. It is known as a SERAPI design style. This gorgeous oriental rug was hand-knotted in Turkey, in the 1950's, so it is about 70-75 years old. It was hand knotted with 120 (KPSI) knots per square inch, making this a very good quality rug. This rug features beautifully more intricate and rich design detail you don't find in newer, less labor intensive pieces. It has a rich earth-toned pallet of: crimson red, dark navy, tobacco brown, some ebony-black, and ivory. The field is a beautiful and rich red, with three outlined hexagons: two in dark blue, and the center one in ivory. Then there is a stunning ivory end cap at each end of the field for richness and lightness to the rug. The exact size is 6.3x3.3. (So about 6 by 3 feet in size.). It is in excellent condition with no wear spots, and no stains and a full pile.

This rug is one that could be used in many style settings, including traditional, contemporary, transitional, or even modern (as the art piece that is a shot of color). This rug was used to stage a very large city lakes home that has now sold. It is a very special piece that will enhance your home. At retail this rug would sell for about $1500.
