We are a small automotive engineering firm specializing in testing vehicles and
components, and we have an immediate opening in our shop for a Senior Technician.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assembly and disassembly of car and truck interiors.
Construction of vehicle reinforcements using steel tubes and sheet.
Design and fabrication of test fixtures.
Set up and run vehicle crash tests.
Install cameras and instrumentation into test vehicles.
Equipment repair.
General maintenance and cleaning of the shop and warehouse.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
General shop tool usage.
Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
Mechanical assembly skills.
Automotive experience.
Must be able to MIG weld.
Basic electrical wiring and soldering.
Steel part fabrication both tube and sheet steel and aluminum.
Basic machining.
Troubleshooting.
Work independently.
