Mid City Cleaning is seeking an experienced Window Cleaning Technician/final clean tech to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Vacuum, sweep, and remove construction dust, dirt, and debris from floors and other surfaces.
Wipe down walls, doors, frames, baseboards, countertops, cabinetry, fixtures, and other surfaces using damp rags or appropriate cleaning methods.
Remove paint, drywall mud, caulk, adhesives, tape, stickers, and other construction-related residue without damaging finished surfaces.
Scrape and clean windows, glass, frames, and tracks to remove construction debris and residue.
Clean and detail restrooms, offices, common areas, mechanical spaces, and other completed areas.
Mop and detail hard-surface flooring after loose construction debris has been removed.
Vacuum carpeted areas, corners, edges, vents, and other areas where construction dust accumulates.
Clean inside cabinets, drawers, closets, shelving, and other built-in features as required.
Remove protective coverings, labels, tape, and packaging materials from finished surfaces.
Collect, bag, and properly dispose of construction debris and cleaning waste.
Perform detailed final cleaning to prepare newly constructed or renovated spaces for owner turnover and occupancy.
Identify damaged, scratched, stained, or unfinished surfaces and report them to the supervisor.
Safely use cleaning chemicals, vacuums, floor equipment, ladders, and other tools required for construction cleaning.
Follow site-specific safety requirements and use appropriate PPE while working around active construction activities.
Maintain cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized condition.
Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet project schedules, deadlines, and quality expectations.
Perform interior and exterior commercial window cleaning.
Safely operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other aerial equipment.
Complete high-rise and elevated window cleaning projects in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
Inspect work areas and ensure all work is completed to Mid City Cleaning quality standards.
Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
Work independently or alongside a team on commercial properties throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
Previous commercial window cleaning experience required.
Current lift certification (boom lift and/or scissor lift) required.
Experience operating aerial lifts safely.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe use on various glass surfaces and building materials.
Understanding of OSHA safety requirements and construction site safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for reporting job progress and coordinating with supervisors.
Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
