TruBlue of Western DuPage is a growing home maintenance and remodeling company serving homeowners throughout the western suburbs of Chicago. We specialize in home repairs, remodeling, and accessibility modifications that help seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes.
We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and motivated handyman/remodeling technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of projects.
Job Responsibilities
Bathroom and kitchen remodeling
Drywall installation, repair, and painting
Carpentry, trim, doors, and molding
Flooring installation, including LVP, hardwood, and tile
Shower installations and bathroom renovations
Deck, fence, and exterior repairs
Installation of grab bars, railings, and accessibility modifications
General home maintenance and repairs
Troubleshooting and completing projects independently
Communicating professionally with customers
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in handyman work, carpentry, construction, or residential remodeling
Strong knowledge of multiple construction trades
Ability to work independently and solve problems
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Own basic hand tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Ability to work as part of a team when needed
Experience with bathroom remodeling, tile installation, and finish carpentry is a major plus.
