We are looking for experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our steel foundry team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, making repairs, and working on a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems. You’ll play an important role in keeping plant equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Job Duties Include:
• Troubleshoot and maintain single-phase and three-phase motors
• Work with low-voltage control systems and motor starters
• Troubleshoot and maintain pumps and cooling systems
• Diagnose electrical issues involving compressors, cranes, cooling towers and bucket elevators
• Install and maintain electrical conduit
• Work with compressed air and water plumbing systems
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and Bobcats
• Assist with a variety of electrical and mechanical maintenance projects
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
• Journeyman Electrician or experienced industrial electrician
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of single and three-phase motors
• Experience with low-voltage controls and motor starters
• Mechanical maintenance experience
• Experience with pumps, compressors, cranes, cooling systems, or similar industrial equipment
• Hydraulic system experience is a plus
• Conduit installation experience
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
• Experience maintaining forklifts or Bobcats is a plus
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
