Family Owned Company- Looking for CDL-A Drivers

Elgin Recycling is a family owned recycling business that has been in business for over 30 years. We recycle metals and electronics, as well as some paper and plastic recycling. Open Driver Position:

We are currently looking for a CDL-A Truck Driver for a Full Time position with our Company. All drivers are based out of Gilberts, Illinois. MUST have a valid Class A CDL with No Manual Transmission Restrictions.

Primary Job Duties:

• Industrial / Commercial pickups of materials throughout the Chicago-land area
• Transporting materials between job sites and between our facilities
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Work in all types of vehicles (Box truck, roll off, semi, etc.). Flatbed and roll off experience a plus!
• Pre-trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections
• Following all safety procedures and polices

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to drive manual transmission
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Excellent Safety Record
• Punctual
• Friendly / Likes to work with people / Team Player
• Hardworking
• Trustworthy / Honest / Dependable
• Bi-lingual is a plus but candidate must be able to speak and write English fluently
