Selling my 2014 Scion FR-S with approximately 99,000 miles and a 6-speed manual transmission.
I’m the third owner, having purchased the vehicle from Sierra Toyota in Sierra Vista, Arizona, in July 2021. The previous two owners were also based in the Sierra Vista area, and the vehicle was purchased and maintained through Sierra Toyota by both previous owners before I brought it to Phoenix.
I’ve driven approximately 25,000 miles during my ownership, and the car has been garage-kept since I purchased it.
Engine & Modifications
The engine remains completely stock and runs great. I’ve experienced no engine-related mechanical issues throughout my ownership.
The car has a few tasteful modifications:
* Invidia N2 catback exhaust
* Spec-D aftermarket headlights
* Valenti LED tail lights
* JDM-spec clear/chrome side markers
Mechanical Condition
The engine runs well, and the car remains drivable. Given its age and mileage, the clutch is worn. While it still functions, I would recommend replacing it in the near future. The tires and brake pads could also use replacement.
Exterior Condition
There is paint/clear-coat fading on the hood and roof, with moderate fading on the upper portion of the trunk.
There is also damage to the passenger-side door and rear quarter panel from another motorist impacting the vehicle in January 2023. A body shop assessed the damage and advised that it was repairable, with no frame damage identified.
Interior Condition
The interior is in very good underlying condition for the vehicle’s age and mileage. It would benefit from a thorough detailing, but the plastics and interior components have held up well, with no cracked or broken trim or notable rattles/creaks.
Additional Information
Title: Clean Arizona title with an outstanding lien through Capital One. The remaining loan balance will be satisfied as part of the sale, with the lien released through the lender.
This has been a reliable and enjoyable car throughout my ownership. I’m being transparent about its cosmetic condition and upcoming maintenance so prospective buyers know exactly what to expect.
Great option for someone looking for a manual transmission Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, or Subaru BRZ.
