Up for sale is a fantastic matching pair of vintage mid-century cast aluminum German Shepherd "Guard Dog" fence post toppers. Manufactured by the Hurricane Fence Company (originally sourced from the Houston area), these sturdy architectural salvage pieces were designed to bolt onto the top corners of vintage residential chain-link fences or gates. They came from the same fence but different parts. Some were already broken off or missing, these two were the last. Heavyweight cast aluminum (weather-resistant and rustproof). Vintage used condition. The castings are structurally sound with no cracks. They feature a great aged natural patina but could easily be polished, painted, or mounted as-is for home, garden, or patio decor. Please review all photos carefully for cosmetic details. A good welder could make this all one piece, or you can use them separately. Measure 22.5" x 6"
