Veterinary assistant position that includes pet handling and customer service duties. Not a strenuous job, but need to be able to lift a 40 lb pet without assistance. We are open Monday through Saturday, but your actual schedule will vary weekly. Hours per week also vary, and can be from 32-42 hours. We open at 7:30 a.m. and the staff leaves @ 5:30- 6 pm each evening. Saturdays are the exception, and we are open 7:30 until @ 1 pm those days. No holiday nor Sunday work is required at present. Preference will be given to "animal people" and those with veterinary experience, but we welcome all applicants. Not a crazy/busy job and lots of fun-along with lots of learning.
