I need one reliable person to assemble and install video-studio gear in a spare bedroom in Georgetown. All the gear is already here, unopened. You'll get a detailed step-by-step guide with a floor plan and checklist before you start.
The work:
- Mount a telescoping curtain rod near the ceiling (drill into drywall, find studs) and hang blackout curtains
- Assemble a 10 ft backdrop stand, hang a fabric backdrop, steam out the wrinkles
- Fill 3 sandbags with sand (sand provided) and weight the stands
- Assemble light stands, mount 2 LED tube lights, pair them to a phone app
- Assemble a boom mic stand and a 2-light green screen kit, test, store
- Assemble an electric standing desk (FlexiSpot)
- Place a lamp and plant, run and tape down cables, haul out packaging
You bring: drill/driver, stud finder, level, tape measure, 6 ft ladder, basic hand tools.
Must have: furniture assembly and wall-mounting experience, comfortable on a ladder, and able to finish in ONE visit (about 5 hours). You'll text me 4 quick progress photos along the way. Weekday morning preferred.
PAYMENT: $200 flat, paid ONLY on completion of EVERYTHING in the setup guide. No partial payment and no deposit before the entire job is complete. If you can't commit to finishing the whole job in one visit, please don't apply.
