Used but works fine. 1/2 HP (powerful). Uses an internal pressure switch to turn on and off. Turns on automatically at about 12" up from the bottom of unit. Shuts off about 5-6" after pumping out. I can demo it for you so you can see that it works. Chuck in Genoa. I'm on a desktop computer which I check often so send me a message and I'll reply ASAP.
