Exceptional quality and very elegant mahogany cheval mirror. Original mirror plate in a rectangular frame topped with artfully crafted finials. Brass stars at the top, pleasing brass décor at the midpoint, and with trestle swept feet that terminate with brass box castors. The mirror likely originated in England during the early 19th century.

The Regency and George IV periods in England (roughly 1811-1830). These mirrors were a symbol of status and refinement, reflecting the wealth and taste of their owners.
