Yes, you read that band name right...Alien Jesus. We are currently a duo looking to add another member. I play guitar, bass and sing a few songs, and my buddy is the lead singer and plays rhythm guitar. He is looking to focus solely on vocals and harmonica, so we are in search of a bass player or a rhythm guitar player.

We are both in our 50's and have a jam room in Gatesville, with a PA, amps, and room to add more. Right now we are focusing on covers and writing out own songs. We have one on SoundCloud currently and a few videos on youtube.

So as for what direction we are going? Well we've been focusing on covers, mainly to get back onstage and enjoy that feeling again. I can send a list of the covers if interested. It's an eclectic mix like Angel Eyes by the Jeff Healey Band, Kiss From a Rose, A darker, slower Have you Ever Seen The Rain...that kind of stuff.

As for our own music...it's a large blend of Classic Country, Folk, Rock, Blues...but with a psychadelic feel. The sky's the limit. I'll include a couple of links to give an idea of what we sound like. There's more to come and we're working on more originals and more covers to make a full set.
