RideShare Carz is looking for a dependable, motivated Collections Agent who is comfortable working on the phone, communicating with customers, and taking ownership of daily invoicing and collections responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is accountable, organized, persistent, and comfortable having direct conversations with customers regarding outstanding balances. The right person understands that successful collections requires consistent follow-up, accurate account management, and a willingness to pick up the phone and get results.
The Collections Agent will be responsible for accurately invoicing customers and making sure accounts are billed correctly and on time. A significant part of the day will be spent making outbound collection calls and following up with customers by phone and text regarding outstanding balances. This person will work directly with customers to resolve payment issues, secure payments, follow up on payment commitments, identify billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate notes and account information.
We are looking for someone who is confident asking customers for payment and understands the importance of staying on top of assigned accounts every day. You must be able to communicate professionally but firmly, manage a high volume of accounts, stay organized, and follow through. We want someone who takes personal accountability for their work and does not allow customer commitments or collection opportunities to fall through the cracks.
Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer account management, automotive, rental, or finance is preferred, but we will consider the right candidate who has the personality, work ethic, and ability to get results.
This is a full-time position working 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Saturday availability is required. The employee will have Sunday off plus either Wednesday or Thursday off, resulting in a five-day workweek.
Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
RideShare Carz provides vehicle rental solutions for rideshare drivers and operates in multiple markets. We are looking for someone who shows up ready to work, values accountability, communicates well, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. This is a results-oriented position for someone who understands the basics of successful collections: invoice accurately, communicate quickly, follow up consistently, and collect the money that is due.
