Rabbits - $40 (Fulton)

My large purebred Flemish doe gave birth to 11 healthy kits that will be ready to go by the first week of October. They will be $30 a piece until the second week of November and then will go to $40 which is the price of all my older rabbits. I have 6 New Zealands for sale that are mixed with my purebred Silver Fox so these girls have gorgeous fur coats! They also have a great meat/bone ratio from both sides. They are $40 but are scheduled for processing before the end of September. They were born May 2nd and can be bred by 4-5 months of age. If you don’t want to keep a male but would like to try a litter before going full meat rabbits, I have bucks for “rent” so if you buy a doe you can choose which buck to mate her with at no extra cost.
I have Californias due in a few weeks, great time to stock up on high protein meat for your freezer. At least you know where it came from, what went into it, that it was treated humanely and served a fulfilling purpose. I only process my own meat rabbits but have used a gentleman that has given me permission to give his contact information if you want it. He charges $3 per rabbit and I have used his services on many occasions when I have gotten over my head. He also does chickens, turkeys and ducks. The expression “breed like rabbits” means two does and one buck will keep a family well stocked with high protein meat at a surprisingly minimal investment.
