Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Deck Builders and General Laborers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, primarily focusing on deck installation, framing, and site preparation. As a vital part of our construction crew, you will contribute to building high-quality outdoor structures and supporting overall project success. No prior experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. Duties
Assist with the construction and installation of decks, including framing, decking, railing, and finishing touches
Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing tools and materials
Operate hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to complete tasks efficiently and safely
Use power tools and heavy equipment as needed under supervision to facilitate construction activities
Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
Support other trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or masonry when required on-site
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and inspecting tools regularly
Qualifications
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics preferred but not required
Experience with construction site safety practices is advantageous
Willingness to learn new skills such as concrete forming, roofing, or masonry techniques
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is mandatory.
