Please take a look at this collector-owned '61 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud.
This is a restored example with beautiful paint and gorgeous gray leather interior and immaculate woodwork inside. In recent years the car has been driven less as the owner moved to FL and has kept the car stored in a private garage. The known issues are: The ignition key broke off in the ignition cylinder and will have to be remade as there is not a duplicate key. The AC compressor was noisy and needs to be replaced (This is a shared GM component so it's not terrible cost-wise). The power steering high pressure line appears to have a leak and may require replacement.
Finally, the brake pedal goes to the floor from sitting w/o being driven regularly. It might be a simple fix---not sure.
I think if someone put about $5k in the necessary maintenance this would easily be a $40k Luxury Rolls Royce.
This car was purchased from another collector as you see it in a Corvette collection out of Texas. In it's prior life that collector bought it from an auction where the owner bailed on its restoration expense and for that reason the garage sold it on a salvage title at the time. Never wrecked/damaged. By all accounts this car is beautifully appointed/restored inside and out. It wouldn't take much to get this back on the road, but does have a short list of maintenance issues to be addressed. Priced to sell at $29k obo. I suspect running/driving it is probably worth closer to $40 or $50k+/-
Please know the car will have to be towed. No rust. No collision damage. No trades. The original carpet underneath the shag in this photo is perfectly intact. I won't be fielding alot of questions at this price. Please PM for inspection/purchase.
