Rather than requiring students to already understand web development, the curriculum begins with computer and programming fundamentals. Students then progress into the technologies used to create the front end of websites and web applications, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Git, GitHub, and other development tools.
The program combines technical instruction with opportunities to put those skills into practice. Students complete coding exercises, work on a two-week Live Project, and develop a portfolio that showcases their work. Two AI courses are also included, giving students an opportunity to learn about artificial intelligence alongside their web development studies.
Career preparation is another component of the program. Students complete a Job Placement Course and can receive guidance from instructors throughout their training. Job placement specialists also provide assistance with resume development, interview preparation, professional skills, and strategies for pursuing employment in the technology industry.
