Recently Released & Trying to Get Back on My Feet — Looking for Some Help (Fort Smith)

Hi, I’m reaching out because I was recently released from prison in July and unfortunately became homeless after my release. I’m currently trying to rebuild my life and get myself into a more stable situation.
I’m waiting for my food assistance to come through, and I also have a disability claim pending that I’ve been told could take several months. In the meantime, I’m trying to find side work and any opportunities I can to support myself.
One of the biggest things I need right now is a phone of any kind that can connect to Wi-Fi. It doesn’t need to be fancy or have active service. Having a working phone would allow me to use Wi-Fi to look for jobs, contact potential employers, apply for work, and access important services.
I’m also grateful for help with any of the following, if anyone has something they no longer need:
Food or nonperishable food
A backpack
Basic personal/hygiene supplies
Clothing or other useful necessities
A phone or Wi-Fi-capable device
Help getting connected with local resources
If someone is willing, help with cigarettes/tobacco would also be appreciated
I’m not looking for someone to support me indefinitely. I’m trying to get through this difficult period while I get my benefits sorted out and find a way to earn money.
