This is a full-time construction-based driving position for someone dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working both behind the wheel and on active jobsites.
This is not a driving-only position. Drivers are expected to support the crew with materials, equipment, and jobsite duties when needed.
PAY & SCHEDULE
• $1,000+ per week
• Full-time, 40+ hours per week
• Monday–Friday
• Overtime available
• Saturdays when needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have:
• Valid CDL Class A or B
• DOT physical
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Strong safety habits and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well with a construction crew
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• Ability to bend, climb, and perform physical jobsite tasks
Experience with dump trucks, concrete trucks, or similar commercial vehicles is strongly preferred.
Southern Gunite will provide training on company-specific equipment and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely operate commercial vehicles to and from jobsites
• Transport materials and equipment
• Assist with material flow during pool and concrete operations
• Support the field crew when needed
• Follow company safety procedures and DOT requirements
