Description
Meet the 2026 Kawasaki Brute Force® 450 4x4 EPS in —a sport-utility ATV that’s equal parts hardworking and “let’s take the long way home.” It’s built for riders who want a machine that feels easy to live with Monday through Friday, then happily disappears down a trail the moment the weekend shows up.
At its core is a 443cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder with SOHC and 2 valves, fed by fuel injection (38mm) so it’s ready to fire up with a simple electric start and run on regular gas. Power comes on in a useful, usable way, making 32 hp at 7000 rpm and 24.6 lb-ft of torque at 6500 rpm—the kind of numbers that translate into confident throttle response when you’re climbing, hauling, or just cruising.
The drivetrain is made for real-world versatility: a CVT transmission with reverse and hi/low range, plus selectable 4x2 / 4x4 so you can keep things light and efficient until conditions say otherwise. When traction gets tricky, the front limited-slip differential and front differential lock help you keep moving, while power steering (EPS) takes the edge off steering effort so longer rides feel less like a workout.
Sized to be manageable yet substantial (80.1 in long, 43.3 in wide, 46.7 in tall), it also turns in tight spaces with a 10.2-ft turning radius and clears obstacles with 9.3 in of ground clearance. Suspension is trail-ready and adjustable where it counts: double A-arm front with 7.6 in travel and preload adjustment, and an independent double A-arm rear with 7.9 in travel, dual shocks, and preload adjustment.
It rides on 12-inch steel wheels wrapped in Maxxis® tubeless 24-inch tires (24 x 8 - 12 front, 24 x 10 - 12 rear), and stops with dual hydraulic front discs and a hydraulic rear disc. Practicality is baked in, too, with 1050 lb towing capacity, a standard rear hitch, and a 4.2-gallon fuel tank—plus handy front fender storage (75 lb capacity) and another cargo spot rated at 150 lb.
