Motorcycle Service Technician
Harley-Davidson of Folsom is currently looking for a skilled, motivated Motorcycle Service Technician to join our team. If you have the technical skills, take pride in your work, and have a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Accept work assignments from the Service Writer and/or Service Manager.
*Identify and request necessary parts as early as possible to help keep repairs on schedule.
*Perform service, repair, maintenance, diagnostic, and customization work in accordance with factory specifications.
*Complete assigned repair work within scheduled timeframes.
*Maintain a high level of productivity, with billable work time as close to 100% as possible.
*Immediately notify the Service Writer or Service Manager of additional work needed, unexpected problems, or delays so customers can be kept informed.
*Assist the Service Writer when requested with work orders, customer communication, test rides, and other duties that help ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
*Complete and properly file all required paperwork upon completion of repairs.
*Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area and assist with overall shop cleanliness.
*Maintain required technical qualifications by completing training assigned by the Service Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
*Completion of a factory-authorized formal training program, such as MMI Motorcycle Service School, or equivalent professional work experience.
*Current motorcycle license.
*Strong passion for the Harley-Davidson brand and motorcycle industry.
*Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive service environment.
*Detail-oriented, precise, and committed to performing quality work.
