Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-proficient individual to support our warehouse inventory and wholesale operations.
This is not primarily a B2C order-packing position. The role focuses on using our Warehouse Management System (WMS), maintaining accurate inventory records, investigating inventory discrepancies, and supporting the preparation of larger wholesale orders.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working on a computer while also performing hands-on duties in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Use the company’s WMS to receive, transfer, adjust, and verify inventory
Compare physical inventory against WMS inventory records
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies
Perform regular cycle counts and inventory checks
Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel and the WMS
Double-check item numbers, quantities, lot information, and product details
Assist with preparing, checking, and completing wholesale orders
Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
Organize products and inventory within the warehouse
Prepare inventory reports and communicate discrepancies to management
Coordinate with warehouse and office team members
Assist with other warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
Strong computer skills are required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including entering, organizing, sorting, and comparing data
Experience using a WMS, inventory management system, ERP system, or similar software is preferred
Candidates without WMS experience may be considered if they are comfortable with technology and can learn new systems quickly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
Good organizational and communication skills
Prior warehouse, inventory control, receiving, shipping, or wholesale order experience is preferred
Must be comfortable performing both computer-based and hands-on warehouse work
Must be dependable and able to work full-time
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers, learns new software quickly, and understands the importance of accurate inventory. We are looking for someone who carefully double-checks their work and can take responsibility for keeping physical inventory and system inventory aligned.
