WAREHOUSE INVENTORY CONTROL & WMS SPECIALIST
Location: Flushing, NY
Pay: $20.00 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and computer-proficient individual to support our warehouse inventory and wholesale operations.
This position focuses primarily on inventory control, Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations, Excel, and wholesale order management.
This is not primarily a B2C order-packing position.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working on a computer, working with numbers, and performing hands-on duties in a warehouse environment.

* Practical Microsoft Excel skills are required.
* A short basic math and Excel test will be given during the interview.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Use the company's WMS to receive, transfer, adjust, and verify inventory
* Compare physical inventory against WMS inventory records
* Investigate and report inventory discrepancies
* Perform regular cycle counts and inventory checks
* Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel and the WMS
* Double-check item numbers, SKUs, quantities, lot information, and product details
* Assist with preparing, checking, and completing wholesale orders
* Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
* Organize products and inventory within the warehouse
* Prepare inventory reports and communicate discrepancies to management
* Coordinate with warehouse and office team members
* Assist with other warehouse operations as needed
BASIC MATH - REQUIRED
Candidates must be comfortable with:
* Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
* Percentages and basic inventory calculations
* Comparing inventory quantities
* Identifying numerical discrepancies
* Working accurately with numbers
Inventory accuracy is extremely important for this position.
MICROSOFT EXCEL - REQUIRED
Candidates must be comfortable with:
* Entering and organizing data
* Basic formulas and calculations
* Sorting and filtering
* Comparing information between lists and spreadsheets
* Working with spreadsheets containing many SKUs and quantities
Advanced Excel skills are not required. However, candidates must be able to use Excel confidently without requiring training on basic functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university - REQUIRED
* WMS, ERP, or inventory management system experience is preferred
* WMS experience is not required if you are comfortable with technology and can learn new systems quickly
* Warehouse, inventory control, receiving, shipping, logistics, or wholesale experience is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organizational and communication skills
* Comfortable performing both computer-based and hands-on warehouse work
* Dependable and available for full-time work
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who is organized, careful with numbers, comfortable with Excel, and able to learn new inventory systems.
You do not need advanced mathematics, advanced Excel skills, or extensive WMS experience. However, you must be comfortable performing everyday inventory calculations, working with spreadsheets, and learning new software.
This position is a combination of computer work, inventory management, problem-solving, and hands-on warehouse operations.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
Selected candidates will be invited for an in-person interview and will complete a short basic math and Excel assessment.
