This is a mega rare find if you appreciate Vintage Gretsch Drums. These were purchased new in 1983 in Orlando as what then was called a “6 piece player series outfit”. I bought them to keep in my office/studio and never take them out for gigging. I had other Drums for that. They were not moved around, basically look like new, never gigged..
Through the years, I realized I’m more of a basic four piece player and sold off three of the drums. For sale is the three piece shell pack only consisting of a 10x12 Rack Tom, 16 x 16 Floor Tom, and 16 x 22 Bass Drum all in matching Burnt Orange gloss original finish. Drums include All factory, mounted Tom holder, spurs, lugs, parts, etc. there have been no modifications whatsoever or additional holes. they are as they came out of the Gretsch factory. These are the original six ply Maple gum wood Jasper shells that are sought after and aged. I’m pricing these beautiful three pieces less than what major drum stores ask for similar preowned models. Please disregard the hardware, Cymbals and Snare Drum shown in the photos. as stated, selling only the three matching pieces and their mounts. Selling because I’m retired now and just don’t play them that much and would rather they go to someone who will appreciate them. Asking only $2,200 cash.
