My wife has always wanted to visit Japan. This year I want to surprise her for our 10th wedding anniversary with a trip to Tokyo. We are an American couple in our mid-40's (I am 48, she is 44) and this will be our first time in Tokyo. We need a local tour guide who can show us all the good sights, spots to eat, and have a nice trip. I am planning for us to be there between 7-9 days and want a guide for 4-5 days. We enjoy history, culture, shopping and of course good food, from street food to fine dining.
I will also want help buying a nice gift that will help us remember the trip. I also want this to be a surprise, so I want to go shopping without my wife (she has a friend in Tokyo that she wants to meet for lunch, so I should have some time alone so we can find a memorable gift to surprise her with.)
